SLEEP TIPS

Rough day?  Soak your troubles away.

If you've had one of those tough, nerve-jangling, thought-it-would-never-end kind of a day, here's a suggestion. Instead of raiding the refrigerator and curling up in front of the tube, pick one of your favorite books off the shelf, turn the phone off, lock yourself in the bathroom, light some aromatherapy candles, and allow yourself the luxury of a long, hot bath.

Make it chamomile.  Hold the cow.

Did you know that a cup of unsweetened chamomile tea is more relaxing and soothing at bedtime than cow's milk, either warm or cold?

Reach out and touch someone.  Better yet, have them touch you.

It's a fact that a gentle massage (you certainly don't have to be a professional to do it well) will ease sore, stiff muscles and promote relaxation. For added calming therapy, try using almond oil with just a drop of lavender or orange oil and knead it into the skin using finger pressure.

If you're still not ready to drift off to sleep, try using a natural, homeopathic remedy, like Hyland's Calms ForteTM.
